As IHSE’s first IP-based point-to-point extender, DNX 4K marks a new era of entry-level solutions that blend IHSE’s trusted engineering with the innovative IP technology of kvm-tec.
New Product Line for Point-to-Point Applications
Developed by IHSE and kvm-tec, the DNX 4K Extender features a DisplayPort interface and is designed for simple, direct connections. It is optimized for small installations and straightforward setups requiring point-to-point operation.
The DNX 4K product family reflects IHSE’s engineering quality while embracing the modern IP-based workflows of kvm-tec. It combines IHSE’s hardware expertise with kvm-tec’s IP foundation to deliver reliability, flexibility, and future-ready performance.

- Support of ultra-high resolutions up to 4K60 and 5K60 with true color fidelity (RGB 4:4:4, 8-bit per channel)
- Easy setup – plug and play
- Single Head and Dual Head operation, including two 4K streams over one cable

- Stereo audio, RS-232, and USB 2.0 connectivity
- Flexible transmission over Cat X, multi-mode fiber, or single-mode fiber, with ranges up to 10 km
- Direct point-to-point connection or easy integration into 10G IP networks. Without the need for continuous Cat X or fiber infrastructure.
